Walter&Bai testing machine
The new W&B testing machine (5MN, 300kN) in HIF B66 can be booked via Outlook (Bauhalle W&B 5MN 300kN hifb66@ethz.ch).
Vacation time

Software HBK Catman
IBK ordered a new campus license for HBM catman, since IT-Shop is no longer supporting it. Contact Roberto or Bauhallenteam if you need the license.

new GSV concept
The new submission date for the GSV-concept is end of September 2024. Some information can already be found here: expRES@IBK
The page will be updated continuously. Bauhallenteam will work intensivly on it in August.
Locking Bauhalle (HIF C51/34/36)
After thievrey in Bauhalle all sidelabs will be closed after 17h00 (can be accessed via badge). Open issue in Bauhalle are still the open spiral staircase doors – Abteilung Bauten is working on it. Draft for the FireSimulator is ready.
New Equipment
- HBK data acquisition devices (HBM QuantumX)
- Hexapod (Chatzi): Construction project for foundation of Hexapod in nothern part of Bauhalle.
- Vibrophore (Taras) – location in Bauhalle guaranteed inside IfU area
- 15MN machine (Taras)
- outdoor cleaning area beside gate 27 (for casting tasks, sedimentation tank) –
New GMIS proposal will be placed with location behind Bauhalle - HEZ – tent for preparation of specimen – construction profject started in Abteilung Bauten
