• Schenck 1600kN Defekt Klemmbacken
  Die Schenck Universalprüfmaschine wird ab 6. September wieder voll funktionsfähig zur Verfügung stehen.
• REF Prozessverbesserung
  Eine WIKI-Umgebung zur Dokumentation von KnowHow wurde als Testumgebung aufgeschalten:
  https://ibk-baug.sp.ethz.ch/wiki/SitePages/Home.aspx
  Die Projektmanagementumgebung befindet sich noch im Aufbau.
  Zur einfachen Aufgabenverwaltung wird das Bauhallenteam in Zukunft auf https://www.wunderlist.com setzen.
• DIC System
  Das REF hat neu ein zusätzliches DIC System von Correlated Solutions (VIC 3D). Jaime Mata Falcón wird Ende September eine Schulung für das System organisieren.
• Alte Reaktionswände
  Die bestehenden zwei Reaktionswände auf dem alten Aufspannboden werden in KW37 von der FHNW demontiert und bis Mitte September abtransportiert.
  
• Voltage conversion at the Hönggerberg campus starts

  The specific times of the power outages can be found in this overview. During this time, each building will undergo a 30-minute power outage.

  Therefore, the ventilation in the labs and workshops (fresh air / exhaust air), as well as any gas monitoring systems will be shut down.

  Chemical fume hoods, local exhaust ducts, ventilated cabinets under the fume hoods, safety cabinets for gases and hazardous substances, and the “pharmacist’s cupboards, are out of order during this period.

  During the cut-off, the following safety measures have to be followed in the labs and workshops:

  • No work with chemicals or gases is allowed.
  • Installations, experiments and equipment which are connected to the lab exhaust system, have to be shut down (e.g. autoclaves, laser cutters, ovens, etc.)
  • The main valves of all gas cylinders in use have to be closed tightly. Reserve gas cylinders have to be stored in the gas storage area.
  • Only chemicals in tightly closed containers are allowed to remain in the labs, if stored in a safety cabinet.
  • All containers for hazardous waste, as well as old and / or non-used chemicals have to be disposed of at one of the hazardous waste stations beforehand.
