Safety introduction
According to the laboratory safety concept of IBK and D-BAUG all experimental working employees and students must have a safety introduction.
For the Autumn Semester 2019 there will be two dates. Registrations must be made with Mr. Jaggi (Jaggi Thomas (IBK) jaggi@ibk.baug.ethz.ch).
Dates:
– Tuesday, 17th September 2019, 10h00
– Wednesday, 18th September 2019, 10h00
– Thursday, 19th September 2019, 10h00
HIF (+) restoration
Excavation work began in mid August.
The old gate (see image above “Quartal 4/2019”) can’t be used any longer.
Also is the entrance to the yellow gate very limited. Transportations must necessarily discussed with the Bauhallenteam.
For tested specimen there is only very limited space left. Projects must plan to dispose old test bodies as soon as possible.

Concrete grinding machine (HIF B64)
The tasks must be supported by the Bauhallenteam cause of a defect. Procurement of a new machine with IfB is in process.
Fire tests @ EMPA
The useful material of the test facility at EMPA was secured and is yet stored in room HEZ D27 and in Bauhalle.
