Information
Experimental Projects
We expect, that the experimental process for IBK projects is known by all employees starting their research.
After having numerous project managers beeng too late in proposing their projects we can not guarantee a proper support for those projects.
Experimental projects must be proposed as early as possible but latest when all people working on the projects are known. Student projects must be proposed one month before the semester starts!
If there are more students requiring the crane introduction they should contact T. Jaggi.
HIF (+) restoration
The crane next to the Bauhallen gate will be mounted at end of March.
This results in about one week of having no possibillities for deliveries.
Please ask for more detailed dates which should be available from March 12th.
Werkstattkonzept
After the visit of Prof. Weidmann and Mr. Stäuble the IBK toolshop was reclassified as Forschungswerkstatt instead of a Institutswerkstatt. This means that the IBK toolshop will be maintained in the future.
Prerequisite is that the big machines (milling/turning lathe) will not be renewed.
Safety concept for big laboraties
The SGU started a project to improve safety in large labs at ETH. Therefore they visited Bauhalle to get an impression of risks which would have large affects.
The project is scheduled till end of 2020.
Evaluation D-BAUG
The evaluation of the Departement BAUG is postponed to 2021.
The Research IBK webpage was already updated.
We will also work on a solution to have information posters beside experiments.
Disposal campaign HIF+
A disposal campaign of the HIF+ project will start at March 16. to April 30.
All materials can be disposed without costs. This service is offered by the renovation project
and is the last disposal campaign.
Rubbish dumps will be placed at the backside of Bauhalle and be supervised by the Bauhallenteam. Please contact for questions T. Jaggi.
