After the Baukommissionssitzung on the 25th of August changes in the construction phases were communicated.
This is the new schedule:
The important dates for REF and experimental research at IBK are:
- Nov. 2021: Start of stage 3.1
From 1st of November 21 the fire protection wall between area 3.1 NORTH and 3.2 SOUTH will be build till 21st of November. In that period, Bauhallenteam must also clean the space in area 3.1.
This means that from 1st of November 21 till end of April 21 the last third of Bauhalle can not be used. This includes the fire/furnace teststands, shaketable and 3/4point bending teststand.
Also the space on the strong floor is already booked out for spring semester 2022. - May-Nov 2022: Stage 3.2
In this period IBK can only use are 3.1, because also 2.2 will be closed till the end of Stage 3.2. - Nov 2022 – Okt 2023: Stage 3
IBK can use both strong floors again, but will only have limited support from toolshop.
In all stages 3.x the Bauhallenteam will permanantly have tasks with moving material and support of the site works.
It is not clear yet, if we can use both cranes in the active areas. If not this would limit the weight of specimen to 10t.
CRANES
For the location of cranes in the resotration phases of Bauhalle the following scenario is planned by Bauleitung:
3.1 NORTH: One crane is in area 3.1 (inactive), the other in the active areas 3.2 & 3.3
3.2 Center: Crane A is activated again in area 3.1, crane B is active in area 3.3
3.3 SOUTH: Crane A is active in area 3.1 & 3.2, crane B is inactive (area 3.3)
For lifting elements heavier than 10t an autocrane could be used. BUT – this has to be validated in each situation. Possible situations:
