Information

Coronavirus emergency mode

There will be a new limitation of people in Bauhalle communicated through the department soon.

Experimental research is possible following the ETH master plan:

All personal tasks in Bauhalle and IBK labs MUST BE scheduled by Friday of the privious week in the available Bauhallen outlook calendar!
Unplanned tasks will not be supported.

HIF (+) restoration

Because of the refurbishment of the HIF building there are larger climatic changes inside the building. Please take that into considuration when performing experiments. Temperature changes for example will influence your measurements.

Procurement

  • Hexapod (Chatzi), decision made – MTS, will be delivered in July 2021
    Release with conditions was granted by Schulleitung for 2021.
  • Small fire furnace (Frangi) , decision made – E-TERM
    Project is granted by Schulleitung.
  • Vibrophore (Taras)
  • Hexapod (Taras) (second priority)
  • 15MN machine (Taras) (first priority)
  • Replacement of Walter&Bai testing machine (IfB, IBK) – OK from IBK – IfB pending
