refine: A major ITS project
Project refine aims at providing ETH Zurich with a new financial control system. Focal points and preliminary results from the conceptual phase are now being presented. ETH is looking for improved, simpler and more effective forms of financial control of their activities, taking into account the realities of research and teaching. Project refine (Inside Newsletter February 2015) aims to provide the conceptual and technical prerequisites needed and ensure the first major implementations (processes, IT systems). In the years 2012-14, the project ran through various phases of evaluation, preliminary design and tender, incl. groundwork, under the designation “New financial control model of ETH” (NFSM). The project is currently in the design phase.
