Damian Conway, «die Perl-Konifere» aus Australien kommt, während seiner Europa-Reise, in die Schweiz und hält an der ETH Zürich sechs Seminare. Dauer zwischen einem 1/2 Tag und 2 Tagen. Damian Conway ist ein brillianter Referent und hat in seinen Seminaren an der ETHZ in den letzten zwei Jahren viele Teilnehmende begeistern können.

Die Seminare sind in Englischer Sprache und eine Anmeldung ist erforderlich!
Nebst den 4 Perl spezifischen Seminaren finden Sie das nicht Perl bezogene Seminar «Advanced Technical Presentation Techniques», dass für alle spannend und interessant ist, die Präsentationen halten,
und «Understanding Regular Expressions». Perl Regular Expressions können auch in anderen Sprachen genutzt werden.

Info to all ETH-Staff interested in Presentation technique, Programming and/or Perl 6 applications.
 
Damian Conway, is the author of several books related to Perl and of numerous Perl modules. Besides his work as Perl instructor and consultant, he has worked closely together with Larry Wall on the definition of Perl 6. Damian Conway is a brilliant speaker, just take a look at some feedback of former participants!

On the occasion of his visit to Switzerland he will run six seminars at ETH Zurich, with durations ranging from  half a day to two days.

In addition to the 4 seminars with Perl topics, Damian Conway will held the seminar «Advanced Technical Presentation Techniques», in which he will explain the key techniques to produce an effective and enjoyable technical presentation, and  the seminar  «Understanding Regular Expressions». Regular Expressions are also used in various programming languages. This lecture is therfore also of interest to every person
involved in a programming project.
