Euler on position 255
Euler at position 255 of the new International Supercomputing TOP 500 list.
In the opening event of the international supercomputing conference ISC’14 in Leipzig, the new TOP500 list of the world’s fastest supercomputers has been released on Monday, June 23, 2014.
The Euler cluster (“Euler Phase 1”) is at position 255 of the list. Including the extension planned for the second part of 2014 (“Euler Phase 2”), Euler would be among the first 100 entries of the list. The fastest Swiss (and European) supercomputer on the list is CSCS’ “Piz Daint” at position 6.
