SOLA Relay and the IT Services
This year the SOLA relay race attracted a record number of participants: last Saturday 12’320 runners took part in the 39th SOLA race.
Traditionally the IT Services plays an important role in this race: besides providing timekeeping and data analysis it also puts up a running team.
A big thank you goes to Mathias Egloff who somehow always manages to form a team. After 10 hours 26 minutes and 04 seconds, the ITS team reached the finish line.
We also would like to extend our sincere thanks to Franz Kuster and Peter Wegmann (ITS retirees).
Since 1976!! they have been actively involved with timekeeping and data analysis for this event. Franz Kuster keeps each team leader updated by SMS and Peter Wegmann plays an active role in data analysis.
