Shibboleth IdP Migration – Update to Login Screen
Please note: On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM, IT Services (ITS) will migrate the Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP) to the ITS’s IAM system.
For users, the only change is the appearance of the login screen. Logging in will now involve two simple steps:
- User name: Enter your user name
- Authentication: Enter your password and, if applicable, confirm via multi-factor authentication
Apart from the redesigned login screen, all user workflows and access methods remain unchanged.
This change applies exclusively to applications that use SWITCH AAI for authentication.
