ITS Director Resigns from Post
Since I can no longer perceive a basis of trustful and fruitful collaboration I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the IT Services. The employment relationship with ETH Zurich is terminated by mutual agreement and effective as of Dec.31, 2010.
I have decided to take this drastic step only after very careful consideration. However, as I leave, I am gratified by the fact that in recent years I successfully implemented and developed information technology with all its potential to benefit teaching, research and administration at ETH Zurich.
VPPR Prof. R. Boutellier will assume interim management of the ITS starting January 1st 2011 with my deputy, Roland Dietlicher, in charge of daily operations. My best wishes to Roland for success in this task and in all future endeavors.
