Video look behind the scenes at ETH
A new film about the profession «Computer Scientist Federal VET Diploma Application Development / Informatiker:in EFZ Applikationsentwicklung» at ETH Zurich has been independently designed and realised by Eric, a second-year mediamatics trainee, as part of his basic audio and video training at IT Services (ITS INFRA).
From the initial customer contact to the development of the film concept, the script and planning, in addition to shooting, editing and finalisation, the trainee took on the entire production process independently. Eric applied the expertise he had acquired in a practical manner and continuously enhanced it during the project.
Eric is one of three mediamatics trainees who completed their six-month «Video» training period with the Multimedia Production (ITS INFRA) group at IT Services at the end of January 2025. Meret, Eric and Max each produced a video for the Vocational Training programme, each portraying an apprenticeship at ETH:
