Michael Kropac, seecon

Michael is a business development specialist, supporting start-ups, established organisations and individuals to develop ideas into viable businesses in the field of sustainability.

Michael has been working with seecon as an innovator, trainer, facilitator and coach since 2006. Besides initiating, supporting and managing projects, he is also member of the executive board of seecon. In his work, Michael focusses on bringing his clients to the next level to create a sustainable impact. He transforms students to entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs to successful businesses and NGOs, existing organizations to the sector leaders.

Michael started his own entrepreneurial career by founding the NGO Ecosan Services Foundation in India, where he lived and worked for 2 years. He is also the Co-founder and Co-director of cewas, the International Centre for Water Management Services in Willisau, Switzerland.

Michael is a Geographer with minors in Business Administration and Transdisciplinary Environmental Sciences. He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Basel. He conducts most of his work in English and German, but also communicates in Slovakian, French and Italian. In his free time he writes mountaineering guidebooks and renovates a mountain farm in Italy.
