However, a recent phylogenetic analysis of the genus <em>Chelostoma<\/em> on a worldwide scale (Sedivy et al., 2008) revealed that this species does not belong to <em>Foveosmia<\/em>. Its phylogenetic position could not be resolved with certainty.
