Advance Notice: Architektur Film Tage Zürich – Arab Women in Architecture

From November 17 to 19, the first Architektur Film Tage will take place in Zurich and present films from all over the world. The selection shows the diversity of architecture and its relationship to art, history, politics and other topics.

On Sunday 19 at 2pm, the movie Arab Women in Architecture is shown. It is a documentary that features interviews with nineteen Arab architects from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia. It explores the subject of the practice of architecture by Arab women architects and features stories on their experiences, challenges, and achievements.

After the film screening, there is going to be a discussion about the role of women in architecture.
