Coming out
The process by which one accepts and/or comes to identify one’s own sexuality or gender identity
Queer
A gender identity label often used by people who do not identify with the binary of man/woman
Intersex
A term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t fit the typical definitions of female or male
Transgender
A person whose gender identity does not correspond to that person’s biological sex assigned at birth
