Straits of Magellan Cruise Terminal Project, 2017
Cecilia Puga has her own practice in Santiago de Chile where she has undertaken different scale designs projects.
Her regular academic activity takes place at the Catholic University in Santiago, where she runs a foundation studio for second year students. Besides this, in 2007 and 2015 she was a visiting professor at the University of Texas, Austin; and in 2009, joined the Symposium Latitudes. This same year she was invited to lead a Studio at the GSD at Harvard; and in 2011, was in charge of a Studio Design in the BIAarch in Barcelona.
In 2014 she won the International Architecture Competition “Palacio Pereira”, a XIX century building to be restored and a new building for the new headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, nowadays under construction. Currently her studio is working on the executive project of the Straits of Magellan Cruise Terminal and has just finished Infrastructure Design project for public use in the Queulat National Park in Patagonia.
