{"id":497,"date":"2009-02-22T15:50:49","date_gmt":"2009-02-22T13:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpethzprd.ethz.ch\/kowalski\/?p=497"},"modified":"2024-02-20T13:40:56","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T11:40:56","slug":"gecko-hand-signals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/kowalski\/2009\/02\/22\/gecko-hand-signals\/","title":{"rendered":"Gecko hand signals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was today at the Z\u00fcrich Zoo (once more) and was lucky to capture a picture showing a gecko apparently signaling to one of its congeners which was only a few inches away.:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.math.ethz.ch\/~kowalski\/gecko-signal.jpg\" style=\"border: 1px solid;height: 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since I was looking at the camera with a fairly high zoom, I didn&#8217;t see how (or if) the other gecko reacted to this &#8220;signal&#8221;.
