I think readers can legitimately complain that not only have I not added a new post for a long time, but more schockingly, my last animal-related one goes back more than one year<\/a>. So, to celebrate the recent belated aper\u00e7us<\/i> of spring in Z\u00fcrich and around, here are some pictures:<\/p>\n

The first two are cheating, since they come from the Masoala Hall<\/a> — but the first one illustrates the beautiful views from the very new canopy walk:<\/p>\n

while the second is a rarely-seen lizard<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Next comes a well-camouflaged bird, this one from a park in Graz<\/p>\n

and another one from the aforementioned canopy<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

after which come a frog,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

a snail,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

and more frogs:<\/p>\n
