The renovation of Audi Max HG F 30 marked the end of an era in the autumn semester of 2024<\/a>: after almost 25 years, the lectern with the distinctive reading lamp<\/a> was replaced. This had replaced a much more imposing wooden platform<\/a> in the year 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Two projects were needed for the renovation, which were brought together in MMT (Multimedia Technologies, ITS INFRA) and MMP (Multimedia Production, ITS INFRA): the technical conversion of HG F 30 «AV over IP», which was completed on schedule in summer 2024 with fully digitalised signal routing. And the «barrier-free ETH» project, which relocated the workplace of the event technician in the first row of seats for the benefit of wheelchair users; this was also completed in summer 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although neither project directly involved the lectern, the opportunity for a generational change was ideal: with the new «Kanzler 3.0<\/a>» model, the outdated lectern was replaced in favour of a slimmer model. In coordination with the Corporate Communications (CC) and after a few lighting and recording tests, it also comes in the familiar «federal grey», but is technically up to date and also looks tidier from the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
