The openBIS team is proud to officially\nintroduce openBIS 20.10.0 RC<\/strong> (Release Candidate).  This release has a focus not only on\nintroducing new features, but also on refining existing components. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. New query engine<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Introduces non-functional improvements,\nproviding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Significant\nreduction in memory consumption; <\/li>
    2. Significant\ndecrease of query times; <\/li>
    3. Great\nimprovement on scalability.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Achieved by completely rewriting the Query\nEngine, this translates into a more responsive system for our users, especially\nfor installations with high numbers of concurrent users. These improvements\nconstitute the foundation for future development work in areas that were not\npossible before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
