{"id":180,"date":"2014-11-03T08:39:07","date_gmt":"2014-11-03T08:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpethzprd.ethz.ch\/its\/?p=180"},"modified":"2014-11-11T09:57:43","modified_gmt":"2014-11-11T09:57:43","slug":"its-ppf-awareness-training-at-cscs-in-lugano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/its\/2014\/11\/03\/its-ppf-awareness-training-at-cscs-in-lugano\/","title":{"rendered":"ITS PPF Awareness training at CSCS in Lugano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 28, 2014, ITS PPF gave CSCS employees involved in IT procurement processes, an Awareness Training session at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cscs.ch\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">CSCS<\/a> headquarters in Lugano.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The following topics were presented and discussed in detail:<\/p>\n<p>\u00d4\u00f9\u00a5GATT-WTO process<br \/>\n\u00d4\u00f9\u00a5software licensing<br \/>\n\u00d4\u00f9\u00a5contractual requirements<br \/>\n\u00d4\u00f9\u00a5IT services versus \u201eStaff Leasing\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Between eight and ten CSCS members were closely involved in each of the discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Both Ralph Curschmann, Senior Manager Technical Procurement &amp; Support (ITS PPF) and J\u00fcrg H\u00e4ubi, Senior Manager Order &amp; Contract Management (ITS PPF) found the participants&#8216; questions most stimulating.
