A lot of people try to protect the content of their appointments by marking them as «Private». Be careful, though, if rights have been assigned to a calendar. Individual clients ignore privately marked appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately,\nthe mail server does not actually conceal the content. Exchange merely flags\nthe appointments as «Private» in its design. It is the clients‘ job\nto respect the marking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommendation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do not publish any sensitive or confidential information in Exchange appointments. Instead, communicate such information separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
