If you are using the D-MATH WiFi or VPN configuration<\/a> (with “math-guest”), you are already in the D-MATH network and can reach all important hosts directly (ex.: ssh host -l <eth-username><\/code>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are using the default ETH VPN<\/strong> (i.e. connected with “staff-net” or “student-net”) you can simply access the D-MATH network (ex. our central clients<\/a>) with SSH via pytharski<\/code> just by entering the following command in a terminal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ssh pytharski.math.ethz.ch -l <eth-username>\n# or just\nssh pytharski -l <eth-username>\n# and if your local username is the same as the ETH one, then\nssh pytharski<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
The first time that you log in to pytharski<\/code> you also have to accept the host key (please verify the fingerprint that you get with this list<\/a>). Then at the “Hostname or command”-prompt enter for example “ada-29” and you are in<\/span>:<\/p>\n\n\n
