I’m a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) Fellow in physics working with trapped atomic ions. I’m in the last year of a three-year MSCA global fellowship, hosted by ETH Zurich and MIT. In this blog, I’ll post updates about the research project I’m pursuing during the fellowship and general information about ion trapping, including science events featuring our research that are open to the public, for those interested in learning more about what we do. The information here should be mostly accessible to anyone who is interested in physics, even if you’re a little rusty on concepts you might have last studied in school. A few posts will be more technical, and will include links to scientific papers aimed at an expert audience, but those will be clearly marked and will also come alongside introductions that describe the updates at a more general level.
