According to the Acceptable Use Policy <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.ethz.ch\/id\/documentation\/rechtliches\/BOTfinal_2005_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">BOT<\/a>and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.id.ethz.ch\/services\/list\/security\/richtlinien\/203.23_standards_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Guidelines for System Administrators of ETH,<\/a> only computers with the latest security updates are allowed to connect to ETH networks.
