{"id":7131,"date":"2013-05-27T14:40:44","date_gmt":"2013-05-27T12:40:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpethzprd.ethz.ch\/id\/?p=7131"},"modified":"2013-05-27T15:53:03","modified_gmt":"2013-05-27T13:53:03","slug":"lunchtime-meetings-home-of-fifa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/id\/2013\/05\/27\/lunchtime-meetings-home-of-fifa\/","title":{"rendered":"Lunchtime Meetings: Home of FIFA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday April 12, 26 ITS members visited the Home of FIFA on the Z\u00fcrichberg.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In November 2012, &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/id\/2013\/01\/07\/kontakt-uber-mittag-medizintechnikknorpeltechnologie\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kontakt \u00fcber Mittag<\/a>&#8220; (Lunchtime Meetings<strong>)<\/strong> visited the FIFA Endowed Chair headed by Prof. Dr. Marcy Zenobi-Wong. At the time we learnt about FIFA cooperation with the ETH.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/id\/files\/2013\/05\/Fifa-Collage1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Fifa-Collage\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/id\/files\/2013\/05\/Fifa-Collage1-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This made our visit to the Home of FIFA especially exciting. The Home of FIFA is the headquarters of the world\u2019s governing body of football, built by the Swiss architct Tilla Theus.<\/p>\n<h2>&#8222;Kontakt \u00fcber Mittag&#8220;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8222;Kontakt \u00fcber Mittag&#8220; was first established two years ago, in 2010. The IT Services (ITS) has more than 200 employees who are spread out in about 15 different buildings. &#8222;Kontakt \u00fcber Mittag&#8220; provides an opportunity for cross-departmental activities in small groups. During these lunchtime meetings we get to meet interesting personalities, learn about exciting research at ETH and visit historical or simply fascinating parts of ETH Zurich. All ITS employees are welcome to join.
