Damian Conway, is the author of several books related to Perl and of numerous Perl modules. Besides his work as Perl instructor and consultant, he has worked closely together with Larry Wall on the definition of Perl 6. Damian Conway is a brilliant speaker, just take a look at some feedback of former participants!

On the occasion of his visit to Switzerland he will run six seminars at ETH Zurich, with durations ranging from half a day to two days.<\/p>\n

In addition to the 4 seminars with Perl topics, Damian Conway will held the seminar \u00abAdvanced Technical Presentation Techniques\u00bb, in which he will explain the key techniques to produce an effective and enjoyable technical presentation, and the seminar \u00abUnderstanding Regular Expressions\u00bb. Regular Expressions are also used in various programming languages. This lecture is therfore also of interest to every person
\ninvolved in a programming project.<\/p>\n
