Die technisch gest\u00fctzte Zusammenf\u00fchrung entfernter Standorte ist eine Aufgabe f\u00fcr die Videokonferenzexperten der Multimedia Services<\/a>, besonders dort, wo es sich um Lehrveranstaltungen handelt. Die Aufzeichnung von Lehrveranstaltungen<\/a> wiederum ist eine wesentliche Dienstleistung der Gruppe \u00abProduktion und Distribution\u00bb innerhalb der Multimedia Services. Daher kann die Aufzeichnung der Veranstaltung \u00abSpace Technology and Operations\u00bb<\/a> von Prof. Claude Nicollier<\/a> als gutes Beispiel einer gelungenen Zusammenarbeit gesehen werden: Die Vorlesung der EPFL wird nach Z\u00fcrich \u00fcbertragen, wo die Studierenden Vortrag und Vortragenden im Teleteaching-H\u00f6rsaal HG D16.2 folgen k\u00f6nnen. Die Aufzeichnung wiederum erfolgt automatisch und steht \u00fcber das Multimedia Portal<\/a> der ETH Z\u00fcrich allen Studierenden zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n

Synergy at work – videoconferencing meets lecture recording<\/strong><\/p>\n

Connecting remote sites is a job for the videoconferencing experts with the Multimedia Services<\/a>, especially when it comes to sharing lectures. Recording lectures<\/a> on the other hand is a service provided by the \u00abproduction and distribution\u00bb group within Multimedia Services. Therefore, the recording of the lecture \u00abSpace Technology and Operations\u00bb<\/a> by Prof. Claude Nicollier<\/a> is an excellent example of a cooperation across technologies: With the lecturer at EPFL most of the time, students can watch him and his presentation in the Teleteaching Lecture Hall at HG D16.2.
