For data privacy protection the people search functions on the ETH-Homepage (\u00abPhonebook\u00bb-searchbox on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/index_EN\">http:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/index_EN<\/a> and detailed search mask on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/people\/index_EN\">http:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/people\/index_EN<\/a>) will no longer deliver any student data. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, the data of any person who studies at the ETH, but is not employed or acting as a lecturer, will no longer be found using the search functions mentioned above. This restriction has been introduced in agreement with the managing board of VSETH. For the same reasons, the standalone-Application <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.ethz.ch\/\">www.people.ethz.ch<\/a> will deliver data concerning students only to authenticated users. Accordingly, the data of any person who studies at the ETH, but is not employed or acting as a lecturer, will be delivered by this application only after a successful login.<\/p>\n<p>We have already commented in this blog about the ability of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.ethz.ch\/\">www.people.ethz.ch<\/a> to adapt the format of the output automatically to the screen size of mobile devices. In the event that a the mobile device is not identified correctly, you can try to force the conversion using the following URL: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.ethz.ch\/mobile\">www.people.ethz.ch\/mobile<\/a>.
