New ETH-Card based building-access system operational
The new building access system is deployed and operational. All old card readers have been replaced by new, contactless terminals that require the new ETH Card. Accordingly, the old Card can be disposed of.
Reminder: the new system uses a 6-digits PIN-Code. Your PIN-code for the new ETH Card has been initialized with the numeric value of your PIN-code for the old Card, followed by two “0”s (e.g. old PIN “1234”, initial value of new PIN “123400”).
You can change your PIN-code at any time without having to enter its current value using the web application www.adresses.ethz.ch.
