{"id":12,"date":"2020-05-20T11:25:10","date_gmt":"2020-05-20T09:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpethzprd.ethz.ch\/feminno\/?page_id=12"},"modified":"2026-08-01T08:54:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T06:54:54","slug":"application","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethz.ch\/feminno\/application\/","title":{"rendered":"Application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who\ncan participate?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program addresses <strong>female researchers of all levels (PhD up to professor) from life sciences, natural sciences, medicine,&nbsp;health, psychology, finance, law, humanities and social sciences), <\/strong> currently working at Swiss Universities, the ETH domain or Universities of Applied Sciences (incl. related institutions)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A maximum of <strong>25 women per round <\/strong>will be admitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The application for feminno round 10 has been <\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>closed on July 31, 2026.<\/strong><br><\/span><br><strong>Successful applicants will be notified by August 7, 2026 about their participation in feminno round 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Costs<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CHF 150 for a PhD students and CHF 400 for a postdoc\/group leader\/PI of ETH Zurich or University of Zurich<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CHF 800 for all other postdoc\/group leader\/PI and PhD students of a Swiss University or University of Applied Sciences (other than ETH Zurich and University of Zurich)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CHF 2200 for an alumna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>PLEASE NOTE<\/strong>: if you apply to feminno and you cancel your participation after you have been selected and notified (Aug 7, 2026) you will be charged CHF 50 for admin purposes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection of applications<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The selection of applications is done based on the following criteria:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relevance for career development<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Does the CV show that the applicant will profit from the program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has the applicant convincingly expressed her commitment<br>for participating in the program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will the program give the applicant the new key competencies that will enable her to achieve her own and the program goals?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relevance of research and startup idea<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are innovative aspects of the startup idea evident?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has the applicant outlined how her research results\ncould be transformed into an innovative product or application?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where there any trainings, activities towards building a startup done? <em>(not mandatory)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who can participate?
