So far we’ve been lacking any video of Oliver going through his daily trials… so here you go, a few clips from a day in the life of Oliver at 6 weeks old…

More photo updates as he turns past the one month mark.  First doctor’s appointment this week, more visits from the grandparents, eatin, sleepin, playin, poopin, and repeat…!

Three weeks old and one pound heavier, more alert, and definitely getting longer… nearly 2 inches longer.

We brought Oliver home from the hospital yesterday afternoon, which is great. He slept well last night and also today, we’re working on getting a routine going. As with the last post, I’ll update this more when I can. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, they are all much appreciated.

Well the official due date has come and gone. Guess he’s going to keep giving mom the kung-fu kicks for a while longer.

Johnny had been working hard lately to organize a manstorm for me – which is an invention of his own representing the male response to a baby shower – a time to do something fun with the guys before the baby is born. So last Monday four of us went skiing for the day at Flumserberg near Zurich (the first place I ever skied in Switzerland). The snow was great and the resort was empty – we had a good day of skiing around like bananas then came back here for drinks. I didn’t take any worthwhile pictures, just this one of the view from the ski resort, and Johnny only took one video of Valentin showing me how to dispatch a jump from a rock. So there’s not much to show of it, but it was a really fun day.

Still just waiting around here. Turns out there is a small waterfall in our town, who knew. Spring is coming though, weather is turning nice.

The new doc doesn’t email us ultrasound images like the old one did, he just prints out one or two of the best. They look good in print but were difficult to scan. Anyway, I tried… here is a pic of the dude’s little face.  The umbilical cord is in front of his nose so the image is cut off there. Looks like he’s got my under-eye bags!

We’ve not had a lot to offer lately in terms of blog posts, and we still really don’t have much to add, so here is a picture from today of Jan and the dude.
