Change Passwords: Security gap Heartbleed
The security gap resulting from “Heartbleed” is now closed. We are pleased to inform you that all vulnerable systems of the IT Services have been patched and provided with new certificates.
Change Passwords
We recommend all members of ETH to change their ETH account (nethz)passwords using the webtool www.password.ethz.ch, if you haven’t already done so this week. Only once you have changed your password can we guarantee that our systems are secure.
We cannot offer any guarantees for systems that are not provided by the IT Services. Be careful where you enter your password, especially on systems which are not from the IT Services. In case of doubt please contact the responsible administrator.
