Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Upgrade

As of Monday October 31 2011 at 09:00 the Cisco AnyConnect client (version 3.0.3054) will be used to connect to the VPN gateway sslvpn.ethz.ch. Once an initial VPN connection to ETH is established the new client will be automatically installed (applies to MS Windows and Mac OS). However the VPZ name from your last VPN session has been lost and must be reentered. After initial login enter your VPZ name in the «Connect to:» field.

Please note that this guide is intended for ZO-employees. If you belong to a different organisational unit, you must enter the correct VPZ_Name accordingly.

Update of VPN clients on ZO laptops takes place automatically via Baramundi.
